Sahara Douz Festival

Sahara Douz Festival attracts thousands of tourists annually spoiling them with a variety of impressive activities to celebrate. From a Bedouin marriage market, the festival of Sahara Douz now holds some impressive camel races, greyhound racings and also to “fantasias” which is a military exercise on horseback. The fantasia is practiced all throughout the Maghreb. Incase you are tired of races, you can visit the food section and enjoy having fresh harvested dates.
Tozeur is the nearest town to Douz which is located on the borders of the Sahara and it can be reached by air or train. |
