Djerba TV Festival
Date- From April to May
Venue- Djerba, Tunisia

Djerba TV Festival celebrated its first edition in 2006 and since then it has been hosting this international festival annually. The Djerba Film Festival is mainly dedicated to the works related to the field of television, screening dramas, documentaries and animation produced in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The first edition of this festival had the participants like Claudia Cardinale, Roger Hanin, Maurice Jerre and many others.

Djerba is an island which lies at the south-east coast. You have to take a ferry from Zarzis to get there.


Dougga International Festival
Date- From July to August
Venue- Dougga Roman Amphitheater, Dougga, Tunisia

At the Dougga International Festival, you can enjoy cultural performances by the leading names belonging to the world of classical and theatrical works. Apart from enjoying the stage performances in the summer air, you can also have the pleasure of exploring the antique walls of the amphitheater. International Festival of Carthage
Date- From July to August

The International Festival of Carthage started in 1964 and this year it is going to be the 44th Edition. The well-preserved Roman amphitheater of Carthage, which has been modernized with the latest audio and visual technologies used in theaters of 20th century, hosts several concerts of Jazz music and plays. It is one of the supreme international festivals of Tunisia where you can enjoy a fusion of local, traditional and international style of music and dance. Bourgeois class can have the chance to enjoy the parts of International theatre or can enjoy also enjoy Ballet performances.

The Amphitheater of the Carthage lies in the suburbs of Tunis, which has excellent public transport connections.


International Festival of Hammamet
Date- From July to August
Venue- Hammamet, Tunisia
Time- From 10:00 pm to midnight

Hammamet is a pictorial town with golden beaches, medina and old town. At the International Festival of Hammamet, tourists can enjoy the flavor of local and international performances. International Festival of Bizerte

Carthage Film Festival
Date- November
Venue- Carthage,Tunisia

Created in 1966 by the Tunisian Minister of Culture, Carthage Film Festival is organized to showcase films from Maghreb, Africa and the Middle East. Being one of Africa’s longest running festivals, this is a biannual October film festival held in the capital city in Tunis.

Hosted by the Tunisian government, this festival begins every year on 11th November and finishes with a grand finale on 18th November. Attracting thousands of people every year, Carthage Film festival only includes films directed by African or Middle Eastern nationality and two years old produced film before the entry. To attend this grand occasion, guests are invited from across the world at the culture venues around Tunis and Carthage.

While showcasing this festival, various movies are being screened around the Tunis cinemas and visitors are able to glimpse the famous movies. To honor the winners with awards, the festival has a panel of judges from across the Arab world with Moroccan, Senegalese, Lebanese, Burkina Fasan and Tunisian judges. The winner of this festival is awarded by a grand prize in the form of the Golden Tanit, the lunar goddess of Carthage.

International Festival of Sousse
Date- July to August
Venue- Sousse,Tunisia

Celebrated at a wonderful location in Sousse, Sousse International Festival is a big festival, organized for childhood and youth. This festival starts from July till August for 6 weeks. The international festival features shorts, animation and films made by children. Along with this it also includes the Sousse Carnival with Africa’s best float parade and the participation of International Arts Groups.
