Among various adventure sports, horse riding stands on the upper stair in the list but it is not necessary that everyone know this adventurous game. Riding a horse is not as much difficult as everyone think about it.

Located beautifully overlooking the Flamingo Island bay, Royal Carriage Club is the first Equestrian Club in Djerba. Consisting of 17 horses and ponies of pure Arabic, barb Arab, Friesian and Mogode, here all horses are placed in their own comfortable stables overlooking open- air lunging ring, international dressage and jumping area.

Being opened on 1st July 2007, this adventurous Royal Carriage ridding club is being affiliated with the Tunisian horse federation and its structure obey the rules up-to International standards. There are number of qualified trainers to teach the beginners by applying strict regulations in the method of training. To teach the learners, there are different courses available at the club

In addition to these courses, the club also has many packages for beginners and experienced riders. Along with all these the island discovery excursions on horseback, camel and traditional Djerbian horse drawn carriages are also offered by the club.

Just a stroll away from the Houmet Souk, Royal Carriage horse club also provides other activities like horse lodging, use of equestrian facilities, hosting special events and leisure eqitation.

For outsiders and guests, this horse ridding club also has a nice accommodation facility including luxuriously furnished room, decorated with Tunisian and colonial design with the exposition of Tunisian equestrian art. Apart from this for others, the club provides shower, changing rooms, toilets, beauty area, baby changing area and a First Aid room.
