Tunisia offers several shopping options where you can bargain for the inflated price of Tunisian arts and crafts. Shopping in Tunisia is a complete adventure as you can eye the wonders of the medinas or souks have. The markets of Tunisia, whether daily or weekly, have lot of variety objects to offer which are distinct in their own ways. Tunisian markets display the unparalleled beauty and the best of the traditional Tunisian works.

Most of the Tunisian cities feature an old towns or medinas which generally are living places of the different skilled craftsmen. Each street in the medina has craftsmen practicing their unique trade. The trades which are of higher value and importance such jewellery, silk clothes, perfumes and books are usually located within the close arena of the mosque. Other sophisticated trades like potteries can usually be found towards the outskirts. When in Tunisia, you can also look out for traditional goods in the weekly country markets. The villagers swarm over to these markets on weekly with their miscellaneous items from the dawn itself. You can experience a lot of fun in the bustling weekly markets which run till noon.

Nightlife as believed is not restricted only to the discotheques in Tunisia but there are many bars, clubs and casinos in some of the important tourist destinations like Tunis, Hammamet, Sousse, Djerba and many more which are open till early mornings. The medinas are also illuminated with colorful lights thus making it livelier.
