Discount City Hotels will only investigate complaint arising out of our services / accommodation purchased and NOT of any services or products purchased directly with the hotelier. Discount City Hotels Ltd cannot be held responsible for any reservations, changes, cancellations or requests made directly with the hotel. In such case customer care and satisfaction remain the responsibility of the accommodation establishment.

GENERAL

Should a client makes several reservations for the same travel dates in same or different hotel and in result only uses one of them or none of them, the client will be liable for all reservations made and no refund will be given. As guests have direct access on our site to their account, they can view at any time the status of each reservation processed. They can at any time, according to cancellation policies, change or cancel any reservation they do not need.
All reservations details and clients names are passed by us to the hotel at the time of making the reservation. As your agent, we recommend that you inform us directly of any amendment or cancellation to your reservation, as we cannot be held responsible for any changes, cancellations or requests made directly with the hotel. Failure to do so will result in invalidation of any responsibility on our behalf as your agent.
We require clients to double check all confirmations. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all details are correct and the confirmation is consistent with the client requirements.
CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICY
• Please check the cancellation policy of the property your wish to book before you confirm your booking. The cancellation policy will also be stated on the confirmation of the reservation purchased.
• All cancellations and amendments/alterations should be made in writing by fax or by e-mail. Enquiries about cancellations and amendments can be made on the phone first but must be followed by a written confirmation by fax or by e-mail.
• Any reservation cancelled prior to the stated deadline will incur only a 25 GBP
processing fee. This amount will be deducted from the refund issued the same day
of the cancellation and a confirmation of the cancellation will be forwarded to
the guests. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount
originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.
• Any reservation amended (amendments include modifying the arrival date and adding or reducing the number of apartments or nights) prior to the stated deadline will incur only a 25 GBP processing fee. This amount will be deducted from any refund issued or added to any extra charge made the same day of the amendment and a confirmation of the amendment will be forwarded to the guests. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge. Please note that although the length of stay can be extended, there will be no obligation from the property to allocate the same room or to apply the same rate. If the duration of the reserved stay is to be shortened, then the applicable tariff for that shorter duration will come into force.
• Please note that a change of rate for a shortened or lengthened stay will be applied
retrospectively: the new rate will be effective from the original date of arrival.
• Any reservation made or arriving within the stated deadline will be non-refundable and non-exchangeable. All reservations made and not used (non-arrival / double bookings) without the reservations being amended or cancelled prior to arrival will also incur a full charge.
• Clients are responsible for contacting SunnyTunisia.com directly for any amendment or cancellation and as advised above any change or cancellation will only be actioned when a request in writing is received. Any amendment or cancellation made directly with the hotel will not be considered valid. Any request to cancel or amend a reservation cannot be considered complete until you receive our confirmation. Until you do your booking will still be considered valid as originally made, so please ensure you contact us if you do not receive a confirmation of your cancellation/amendment within 1 hour of your initial written request if made during normal business working hours, or within 1 hour of our opening times if your initial request is made overnight or at weekend.
LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY
For a cancellation notified at any time within the stated deadline or for a -no show-, SunnyTunisia.com will retain up to the full amount again depending on the cancellation policy for the property booked - please check carefully before booking.
Please note that any and all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally
paid) credit card handling fee charge.
MODIFICATION TO A RESERVATION, OR TO THE DURATION OF STAY, AFTER ARRIVAL
After arrival any modification to the length of stay will be subject to the advertised cancellation policy if the length of stay is being reduced.
If the duration of the reserved stay is to be shortened, the applicable tariff for that shorter duration will come into force and both the new rate and processing fee will be taken into account before any refund is made. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.
If the duration of the reserved stay is to be extended (subject to availability of course), there will be no obligation from the property to allocate the same apartment or to apply the same rate.
Please note that a change of rate for a shortened or lengthened stay will be applied retrospectively: the new rate will be effective from the original date of arrival.
